Real Life has grown in recent times to a readership of well over 60,000 people daily, with a monthly pageview count of over 4,000,000. And since a large majority of those readers are between the ages of 18-24, that makes Real Life a prime place to advertise.

Standard Banner Ad
This is a 468x60 banner ad that runs at the top of all pages in the system. It sells for a fixed rate, and your banner goes into a rotation with all other banner ads that have been purchased. This is an ideal solution if you want to advertise, but are on a minimum budget, as these types of ads are very affordable. It will also ensure that your advertisement shows on every page on the website. Pricing for this kind of ad is based on the number of impressions, or pageviews, that you want to purchase.

Tower Ad
The 160x600 tower ad can be priced in one of two ways - you can purchase based on pageviews, same as the banner ad, or you can reserve it by the day, in which case pricing depends on how many days you purchase. It runs directly to the left of the comic page, giving it a maximum visibility for the price, and is easily one of our best advertising deals, considering you get rougly 3 times the advertising space over the 468x60 ad.

Custom Advertisements
For an added fee, you can elect to have me create a custom advertisement around your product or service, featuring characters from Real Life if you wish. You will have control over what elements appear in the ad, and will have final approval of the finished ad. Contact me for more information.

Any ads submitted must already be the proper size, and flash ads or animated gif ads are allowed. Just try to keep the filesize reasonable...I don't want to be serving up a 1 meg banner ad every time someone loads the page. You understand.

We reserve the right to refuse to advertise with anyone for any reason, but this is mainly in the interest of keeping certain types of ads off of the mainpage, like porn and home equity loans. You get the picture.
