I did a little bit of a change in how the news is displayed. The upsides are that a) This means the news is automatically displayed with the comic that was up that day, creating a news archive, and b) I can use Ioncomix' built-in ranting system, making my life simple. :D The way the news will work from now on, though, is that newer news will be on the bottom of the page.

Anyway, tomorrow we're leaving for E3! And I'll have my trusty laptop with me, meaning I can work on the comic in the hotel, and I also plan on doing a day-by-day update of things that happen at the expo, complete with pictures and everything.

For the meantime, though... I need to take care of crap around here before I get going, and hopefully the guy working on my A/C will be able to finish it today. we'll see. Anyhow, take it easy, and the next communication here will be from Los Angeles!

I know a lot of you have noticed the server being slow. Moving servers is always very stressful, and I didn't realize until now a) how MANY of you read this comic, and b) how poorly optimized my page was. Every single image sends a request off to the server, and I had 50 or so images on the mainpage alone. To try to resolve ths, I changed all the link images to the left into one image with an imagemap. That reduces the file requests by about 20. I'm also gonna change the menu into one image via the same method.

Anyone who has any other ideas on how to reduce server load, let me know. Thanks. :)
