Certain Fridays, I'm convinced, work against me. Granted, this friday was spent looking over the proofs for the book to make sure they were all kosher, but still. Anyway, that combined with a weekend of friends over, plus a lack of inspiration till the last damned second and a bit too much sidetracking, means no comic. I got an idea for it, problem is it happened at about 12:55 or so, and there's no way I can devote as much time to the idea as I'd like. So I'll do it tomorrow at work instead.

Aaand... in order to distract you from the fact that there's no comic, I will use the incredible cuteness of my cat, Gandalf! You cannot resist the cute! It is overpowering!!

Holy bajeesus! I know I was EXPECTING them to come today, but they actually came! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the proofs for the first Real Life Book.

I'm beginning to think my estimate of how thick this thing was going to be may have been a bit low... this thing is huge. I know it's on thicker paper than usual, but it's freaking gigantic. Looks gorgeous, too. It's currently back in a padded envelope to be next-day aired back to the printer, which means we're on schedule to have books prior to comic-con, like I had hoped. Had a few changes to make, but they're minor. Nothing that will hold back production. God, I can't wait to hold the finished thing in my hands. I just thought I'd give you guys a look at what I got today. ^^
