Wondering about the interest in a Real Life UO Guild

Posted at 01:25 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2007

So, I've been playing a bit of UO: Kingdom Reborn, and it's fun... I mean, it's UO, with some additional features, but still. I could POTENTIALLY see myself getting back into this.

The thing is, though, there would really only be two things that would get me to play this on a regular basis again - a guild, and a house. My house has sadly fallen, (around this time) and it was in a very, very nice location. I have a lead on a 10x10 house, but I don't want to pursue it unless enough people are interested in forming a guild - in which case, it would be mainly a guildhall.

So, that's the reason for this post. I'm trying to gauge the interest in a UO guild. I know the game is 10 years old... but it also holds a special place in my heart. If I could play alongside you guys, I would enjoy it a lot more. Now, Sagus (Thankfully, my ORIGINAL character and account are still around) is on Napa Valley, but since moving characters is something of a trivial thing now, this could be set up on any server - obviously, the more people happen to be on a certain server, the better it would be. Also, if anyone has a lead on a housing plot, (bigger the better - I'd want to make an AWESOME guildhall for everyone) let me know. The closer to town and a road, the better... my old Vesper home was ON the road out of Trinsic. Doesn't have to be in Brittania, either. Any of the additional landmasses are okay, so long as people can easily find it.

I've created a subforum in the Real Life forums about this - if you're interested, log in and let me know. And I'll see you in Sosaria!

No Comic Thursday

It's been a little while since a good old fashioned missed comic, but it's that time again. We just got back from Sacramento - and it's 1 am. We're exhausted, and I need to get sleep so I can wake up un... 6 hours. Ugh.

Same as ever for Friday - should be back on track. :)
