Speaking of dying video cards...

Today's strip is not entirely without merit. See, over the past month or so, Liz' computer would just utterly refuse to start up until you turned it off and on again real fast. Then yesterday, it craps out entirely. Won't start up no matter what. Turns out the video card was bad. This is on that FFXI Chains of Promathia PC she won 4 or so years ago.... up till recently, the thing's been a monster of a computer.

Basically, we're looking to see if anyone has an AGP card equivalent to or better than a 256MB GeForce 6800 GT that they'd be willing to sell us. I'm having a helluva time finding an equivalent card locally, and I figured "Hey, you never know - someone might have something like that just lying about the place that they wouldn't mind parting with." *laugh*
