Ugh.

So, I'm home.... finally. Only took an additional 12 hours I wasn't planning on.

We were supposed to be home around midnight last night, but the plane was about 45 minutes late getting out of Norfolk, leaving us with about 15 minutes to get from gate C2 to F11 at Chicago O'Hare. (I only put those in there so people familiar with the airport would know what kind of distance we're talking about.) Missed the flight by 4 minutes.

Thankfully, the delay at Norfolk was mechanical, so they put us up at the O'Hare Wyndham for the night so we could catch our flight today, but sadly, ALL our luggage was already blasting off towards Austin. Including the laptops.

All's well that ends well enough, though - we're home safe and sound (finally) and all our luggage was in one piece, so I guess I can't complain too much. But on the scale of reasons why there wasn't a comic, this one ranks WAAAY up there. Even higher than me getting drunk. Srsly.
