NOOZ!

I bring tidings! :D I know it's been a while since I've updated... work has been devouring my free time wholesale lately, so all I've really been up to lately is work, comic, rest for a few hours... then repeat. It's been getting tiring.

That said, there is something of some note I should bring to your attention - I'm going to be a guest at AOD this weekend! AOD is Animation on Display - previously known as Anime Overdose - an animation convention in San Francisco! It's super late notice - we told them we were interested in just coming up and tooling around, and they invited us to be full guests. :D So we're going to be doing panels and all that jazz... should be a good time! I feel like it's been forever since I've been to a con... the last one was Kumoricon, I think - around august. Wow. So, yeah! Come on by, see all the awesome anime stuff, and find me and punch me in the arm or something. :)

Additional nooz: for the remainder of February, all prints are 2-for-1! The way it works is pretty easy, actually - just order a strip like normal, and in the "Notes" section, include an additional strip that you'd like to recieve - at no extra charge! Couldn't be simpler. Well, it could... but it would require lots of coding that I frankly just am not up to. :D

Also, and this is just for the really hard-core fan (Maybe "FAN" is too strong a word for you. Let's just go with "follower") I'm putting together some "Storyline Packs", which essentially conglomerate the entirety of certain storylines into one easy-to-purchase print bundle, all for a reduced price. The one I'm going to make available first is the most recent "Space Station" storyline, which believe it or not, from beginning to end, is 42 strips. I didn't even plan that. Bought individually, it would be over $210... a lot of freaking money. Even at 2-for-1, you'd still be paying $105 for it. Well, with the storyline pack, all 42 prints, all individually signed, will only cost $60. (Well, you know... plus 5 bucks shipping. But still) That's only $1.43 per strip - a little over a 70% savings. I'm still working on getting it on the store to make it nice and easy, but for now, if you're interested in the story pack, just send me an e-mail at gregdean@gmail.com letting me know you're interested and we can work things out that way. :)

Last, but not least, to help boost book sales (which have dropped drastically since the initial preorder rush) we've decided to sweeten the deal somewhat. It's what we gotta do. :) So, bearing that in mind, each book order will now include a signed, limited edition print of the "2001: A Geek Odyssey" cover image, brought to life by none other than Mohammad Haque. This will be printed borderless on 100-lb gloss cover stock and signed (and numbered) by yours truly. You heard me right - numbered. These are limited to 1,000 pieces.
