You know, it seemed just a few short months ago, I was a mild-mannered web/graphic designer with a fairly simple desk job and very little in the way of my job interfering with my home life.
Now here I am, stuck teaching a class in Redding, CA, sitting in a hotel room trying desperately to be quiet enough to not wake up my daughter. And this comes on the heels of teaching this exact same three-day class last week as well. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND. For Pete's sake.
In any case, that would be why there wasn't a Wednesday comic (had to pack and get to bed SUPER early to make the 3 1/2 hour drive and arrive by 8 am) and why there wont be a Thursday comic either (dealing with logistics today has been a nightmare, and I need sleep more than I can fully convey. But no, I haven't fallen off the planet or anything. But I am in Redding, which feels pretty damn close.
