The architecture. Interiors, mostly. Dark brown and woodgrain everywhere, orange countertops, all that jazz.

Accent walls made out of that rough flagstone crap. It had character. Now, most buildings just have plain white walls. It's sad.

Well, think about it. White has always been the color of the future. Look at "2001". All the interiors of the spaceships and whatnot were some form of white.
