On the one hand, I enjoyed the story and the effects and all that immensely. It was awesome. On the other hand, I haven't seen that much product placement since "Demolition Man".

It's just what these "not-too-distant-future" sci-fi movies like to do. They think it puts the audience at ease by seeing familiar names and products.
