Okay, this is far more than I can simply sit and seethe about. So on Tuesday, Matt Boyd IMs me and tells me he got canned from his job – which I had at that point inferred from the most recent edition of Three Panel Soul, but he confirmed it. I was incensed to say the least, but he assured me there was nothing that could be done about it, so I deferred to his nonchalance.

Then, not 5 minutes ago, he points me to this. (he has kind of a habit of sharing his news with me via third-party sources.) This is too freaking much. I don’t even know who to be more pissed off at – his ex-coworkers? The government? Both?

This is the kind of thing that needs to be spread. People need to know about this kind of stuff going down. It infringes on so many damned rights it’s not even funny, and it just makes parts of me feel dead inside.

On the bright side, Matt’s said he’s moving to San Francisco in a month or so… so that’s a nice bonus. Now I can hang out with Ian, Jess, and Matt – all at the same time. I’m pleased for very selfish reasons. :)
