Well, ladies and gentlemen, in an effort to do anything and everything possible to raise capital to get these damned books printed, we’ve decided it’s finally time to sell the FFXI PC on ebay.

For those who remember, this was the grand prize for the costume contest given out at the 2004 Final Fantasy XI anniversary party in San Francisco. Liz and I were there, in costume, and her AMAZING moogle outfit won the entire thing hands-down. The prize was this MASSIVELY overpowered PC case built by the FFXI dev team using parts that were almost impossible to find at the time. The piece de resistance, though, is the case: both side panels feature Amano’s Chains of Promathia artwork in full color. The case alone is awesome, but the PC it contains is still a monster of a machine, even four and a half years later. Check the auction for the full specs, but it still consistently outperforms my machine, so needless to say, it’s a beast.

I might be listing a few other RL-related items here in the future, ’cause I’ve hit the point where I can’t sit by and hope for more book sales to trickle in so we can get them printed. I want these things done, and I’m willing to part with all sorts of belongings to make it happen. Even so, it’s a pretty awesome bit of Final Fantasy memorabilia that’s incredibly unique, so it’s pretty badass on its own. Even if you’re not interested yourself, if you could kinda show it to FF fans you know of, it would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks, guys.
