No, it’s true – the banner is totally for sale.

So, yeah… the comic is actually true, today. I had been planning on selling this for a while now, so the comic is just sort of my way of cathartically “letting go”, but yeah… there you have it. The Convention Banner is officially on auction.

This is the very same banner you’ve seen in a large number of comics, but more to the point – it’s the one I’ve taken all over the country with me to countless conventions. Hell, you probably saw it behind me at Comic Con last year. Or, you know… if you don’t GO to conventions, you haven’t seen it at all. Either way. This banner has been with me through thick and thin, and were it not a last-minute push to make sure we have the fundage to attend Comic Con, (it’s always tight around this time of year… it’s just especially so this year) I probably wouldn’t even be parting with it at all.

The full details of it are at the ebay page, but it’s a pretty neat, one-of-a-kind collectible. I managed to snag an INCREDIBLY cheap skyline display from a little roadside yard-sale type place while we were in Texas, (which you’ll see at Comic Con this year) so most future booth backdrops should be a little more…grandiose. :) But in any case, it’s a 3-day auction instead of the usual 7-day ones, ’cause we need all the help we can get. Thanks folks! And hey – see you at Comic Con!
