A few people have sent this my way this morning, so I thought I’d share it with you here, but at first glance, there SEEMS to be some merit to my comic today that I didn’t even know existed: Google Map.

While my big red fedora is off to the folks at El Goog, there is a good reason this didn’t turn up when I searched for her last night: her name is Carmen Sandiego, not Carmen San Diego. Perhaps Carmen San Deigo is some kind of alias she’s using to hide out after stealing the Leaning Tower of Pisa, though it’s not exactly the best choice of an alias, since it just includes a space in it.

But see, there’s additional evidence pointing to where Carmen Sandiego is on the Google Map shown in today’s comic, as I found this note from the devious thief after she stole all the Cable Cars from San Francisco:

“I don’t mean to wine, but I’m off to a region of France where I can rest my Lefite for a bit.”

Clearly, she’s in Bordeaux. I mean, come on. Simplest clue EVER, right?
