Hey everyone! Sorry to put the sudden brakes on transcription efforts, but we were getting a lot of incorrect information being entered, and right now we've only got three mods to handle it all - and they, sadly, have lives.

We've been trying to control things to a certain degree by adding "DO NOT USE" to certain attributes and characters, but the database is growing out of control despite that. With that in mind, I'd love to ask a few dedicated fans to help out in the transcription efforts by becoming a moderator. As a moderator, you'll have a user name attached to every strip you enter and moderate, and you'll be on a mailing list of other mods so that we can keep things in check a little bit. As a moderator, you should know who all the characters are, and have an eye for detail without being too pedantic.

In an only tenuously related aside, as of today, the Characters section is officially live once more! Not only that, but it will be containing more information in the future, like alter-egos, as well as first appearance and recent appearances. It should be useful for moderators, too, because it was amazing to me how many people were confusing Crystal with Liz. :) So, yeah - four years in the making, enjoy the Characters section. :D
