Dave: So you do all the embroidery stuff for Liz?
Greg: Yeah, it seems like it might be boring, but it’s actually pretty cool.
Greg: I draw up each of the designs in the embroidery software, but I have to keep in mind things like the fabric stretching and stitch direction, so it’s kind of a delicate art. It’s a lot like using illustrator, actually. then I pick the right threads, load up the machine and let it work its magic.
Dave: And that’s when it gets cool? I’m confused... when does the coolness happen?
Greg: ...When I am able to make an intricately detailed and embellished hand towel with the phrase “Go Fuck Yourself” on it and hang it in your bathroom.
