Panel 1
Mae: So… someone from the future just paid me five bars of gold-pressed latinum for my warp core lamp…
Tony: Sure, happens all the time.
Mae: … but I’m not exactly sure what to DO with it.

Panel 2
Tony: Well, if memory serves, someone did the math on it at one point and found that a bar of gold-pressed latinum has an approximate value of like, $4,000.
Mae: Holy shit.
Tony: Right, but that’s only in the future when it’s used as currency.

Panel 3
Tony: On the OTHER hand… there’s actually SURPRISINGLY little latinum in each bar, based on the one time we saw liquid latinum on the show…
Tony: So given the relative dimensions of the bars, each one is probably about ten ounces of 98% pure gold, which is worth about…

Panel 4
Tony: …eh, a little over a hundred thousand dollars?
Mae: And to think, each bar has a little bit of worthless latinum suspended in it!
