I know I said it would be available PERMANENTLY, and then not two weeks hence it went down like a ton of bricks, but it’s all better now.

See, Lulu has different printing offices worldwide. This is their U.S. based office. Sadly, this is their UK-based office. See, I originally uploaded a vector-based PDF file, because hey – vectors are what I do, baby. Besides, when it comes to printing, they’re awesome-sauce. But just to make sure everything was hunky-dory, I made sure to buy a copy for myself before I publicized anything. It came in looking right as rain, so I made it live. Not too long after I start finding out that anyone from the UK who ordered it was getting it coming looking really, really horrible. Apparently, they don’t have standards between their printing establishments, meaning the US office knew how to handle transparencies, and the UK office apparently missed that seminar. Rather than addressing the situation and actually MAKING THEIR BUSINESS WORK BETTER, they informed me that it was my fault, and they were taking the book down to prevent any further problems. I would have to rasterize it and reupload before I could get it done again. (Keep in mind, this is a very large file, and that’s a lot of work.)

Oh well. I picked my battles, and this was not one of them – so the book is up again, newly rasterized, and there should be no further problems. However, if there are any, rest assured they will be my fault.

P.S. – If you live in the UK and got one of the garbled books, I am still working with Lulu on getting you replacements. Stay tuned and I will let you know what I find out.
