Howdy, folks! Many of you know that every year, Pat Rothfuss, bestselling author and all-around great guy, holds a charity fundraiser for Worldbuilders, in benefit of Heifer International. And every year, I try to donate something to the cause to help raise some money. Liz actually just ran into the guy who bought my hand-knit Doctor Who scarf when she was at MAGFest recently.

Well, this year, we’re doing something a little different – we’re auctioning off a one-on-one online internet Illustrator lesson from yours truly. In the past, I’ve taught Illustrator lessons at cons for people ranging from beginners to more advanced users, and the upshot of a one-on-one lesson is that I can really tailor it to you. If you want to learn how to best use Illustrator to draw a comic, I can help! Or maybe you’re curious how you can use it to do website layouts, or any other kind of graphic design. I’m your guy! I haven’t decided which platform I’d use to teach the class yet, but you’ll be able to have a high-res view of my screen, as well as video window to chat and talk about what you’d like to learn. In essence, I will be yours for all of two hours – use me as you will.

And since we’re getting down to the last few days of the fundraiser, even if you can’t bid or aren’t interested in the class, take some time and throw $10 or more into the lottery for some really great prizes! You’re helping out a great cause, and could get some awesome stuff in return! Thanks, guys!
