So, for starters, I’m PROBABLY going to have STO comics pretty much this entire week, unless I run out of material. So brace yourselves for that. :)
Secondly, a number of people have asked my handle on STO, so we could perchance team up. Its a tough one here, and may well throw you for a loop… “GregDean”. Seriously. My character changes it up a bit, though… his name is “Greg Dean”. With a SPACE.
Yeah, I know. It’s far from original… but you have to understand something about me and Star Trek. We go way, way back. And even though I’ve worshipped the ground Captains Kirk and Picard walked on, I was never one of those kids who dreamed of playing AS them… I dreamed of being in Starfleet. So in my mind, why would I want to play as someone OTHER than myself? I’m Lieutenant Greg Dean, Captain of the U.S.S. Batavia (Name change pending… I can’t figure out where to change it), at your service. If you need help killin’ Klingon scum, I’m your man.
Anyway, add me to your friends list if you’d like. I might consider starting a fleet at some point, but for now, I’m just focused on reaching Lieutenant Commander so I can get my hands on the Constitution-Class Refit. :) If nothing else, it’ll just make my current “Wrath of Khan”-era uniform more appropriate.
