Panel 1
Mae: I just can't believe you're finally LISTENING to me for once. For so long, every time I'd get a thought or idea past ol' doucheypants, you'd listen for a few minutes and then lock me back away in my cell.

Panel 2
Greg: I mean, what was I supposed to do, Mae? I always assumed it was just idle fantasy. Doesn't everyone have fantasies about what life would be like as the opposite gender?
Mae: Sure, but not ALL THE TIME. I'd bet the average cis person thinks about being the opposite gender with about as much mental energy as they wonder what it might be like to be a lamp post.

Panel 3
Greg: But what about all the movies, comics and anime about the crazy antics that happen when people swap genders? I mean, look at Ranma 1/2, for f**k's sake!
Mae: SURE, but what do ALL of those stories have in common? The main character is trying to REVERSE the curse, or the spell, or whatever. They WANT to get back to the way they were before, because it's weird to them that they're in the "wrong" body.

Panel 4
Greg: Yeah, I never got that. I remember thinking if I was Ranma, I'd just keep a bottle of cold water on hand at all times, just in case.
Mae: THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING.
