Panel 1
Mae: Once upon a time there was a mom, her name was Mrs. Pteranodon
Mae: While sittin’ on her nest she heard a scratchin’ and said “Oh boy my eggs are hatching!”
Dave: Um…. what?

Panel 2
Mae: One by one the kids popped free - baby pteranodons, one two three!
Mae: She said “I’ll name you tiny, shiny and don”, but tiny said “wait, there’s one more, mom!”
Dave: LIZ! Your wife is broken!

Panel 3
Mae: The last little baby was a different size, with teeth and a tail and big green eyes
Mae: He didn’t look anything like the rest! “What am I doing in a pteranodon nest?”
Liz: Oh lord, she’s been watching Parker all afternoon, and he likes to watch Dinosaur Train on Repeat.
Dave: Sounds like she’s got a memory leak - try a forced reboot.

Panel 4
Mae: But dear old mrs. pteranodon said “This is your family, and I’m your mom!”
Liz: I’ve got a pair of steel-toes that should do the trick.
Mae: “We may be different, but we’re all creatures - all dinosaurs have different features!”
Dave: The bigger the boot, the better.
