Panel 1
Mae: Back in a bit! I’m off to pick up my new prescription.
Liz: Another new one? It seems like she’s switching up your prescriptions every few months.

Panel 2
Mae: She is, in a way - we’re just trying to find the right combination of administration method and dosage to get me where I need to be in a way that works.
Mae: This time, we’re going to switch from patches to biweekly injections.

Panel 3
Liz: Oh, wow. Wait, are you going to need me to help? Don’t you have to stab it in your ass or something?
Mae: No, we’re going to do it subcutaneously, so it’s just a small needle into my belly.
Liz: Oh, damn.

Panel 4
Mae: What do you mean “damn”? Were you WANTING to help give me a shot?
Liz: No, but the idea of getting to stab you twice a week had a certain appeal.
Mae: So sorry to disappoint.
Liz: It’s ok. I’ll figure something else out.
