Hi Folks!

So today’s comic is a bit of a plug, if you’ll allow me to do so this once. And really, it’s one that’s LONG overdue, but I kind of needed to wait until Harper was old enough to make it work. :)

As you probably know, my favorite author is Pat Rothfuss, who writes the Kingkiller Chronicle (Name of the Wind, Wise Man’s Fear, and the as-yet-unifinshed Doors of Stone.) and is a particularly all-around nice guy. Anyway, a year or two ago, he wrote this charming illustrated book called “The Adventures of The Princess and Mr. Whiffle“. It looks very much like a kid’s book. But the only good reason to read this book to your kids would be if you desperately want them to have a sleeping disorder. That said, it IS a very fun read, so give it a look!

This book came and went in the first edition a while back, but you can pick up a hardcover second printing from Pat’s website by clicking the link above. And it’s really a worthwhile cause in the end, as all proceeds from the sale go to Worldbuilders, Pat’s charity foundation. (And trust me, you’ll want to buy it from him anyway since copies on Amazon go from $100-$160.)
