Panel 1
Harper: Daddy? I need help with my schoolwork.
Greg: OK, I’ll give it my best shot. What’s up?

Panel 2
Harper: So, it’s telling me to pick a state that shares some features with California, and the options are Virgina, Texas, Nevada and Arizona.

Panel 3
Greg: Well that’s simple: All of them. California is a ridiculously diverse state, with deserts, mountains, forests, plains and everything in-between. Pretty much every kind of geological feature you can find in other states can be found here too.

Panel 4
Harper: Um...the computer is only letting me pick one.
Greg: Nuance is wasted on fourth-grade geography.
Greg: Just pick “C”. It’s usually “C”.
