Panel 1
Mae: Tony, we need to talk.
Tony: What is it? Can’t you see how busy I am?
Mae: Yes, I’m sorry. I’ll let you finish your doordash order.
Panel 2
Tony: *Sigh* YES? How can I help you?
Mae: I personally think you’re falling down on the job when it comes to this whole godhood thing. I mean, trials and tribulations are one thing, but 2020 is just completely out of control.
Panel 3
Tony: Look, I get it. You and all the other Flanatics…
Mae: To be clear: I was never a Flanatic.
Tony: ...whatever you want to tell yourself. The point is, you’re not alone in your lamentations. The thing is, my hands are tied.
Panel 4
Tony: Our universe and the prime universe exist in a state of quantum resonance. Even if I wanted to alter things, the two universes need to retain at least 7 degrees of probabilistic separation or they BOTH begin to unravel.
Mae: MY but that’s a verbose way of being unhelpful.
Tony: I have many ways of being unhelpful, but the technobabble ones are my favorite.
